Haworthia plant

             Haworthia plant also know as zebra haworthia and its scientific name is Haworthiopsis attenuata. Zebra haworthia is a cute small succulent plant, it's native to South Africa. They are members of the subfamily Asphodeloideae. They popular garden and container plants.
Haworthias have many species and they have firm, tough, fleshy leaves, usually dark green in colour, whereas others are softer and contain leaf windows with translucent panels through which sunlight can reach internal photosynthetic tissues.

Haworthia plant care 

Soil for haworthias

  Haworthia is a succulent plant so potting it in well drain sandy soil or soil mix With equal amount of drainage material.3 to 4 inch pot is best for haworthia plant. 

Watering

     Haworthias requires less water don't like wet soil. In summer Haworthia plant water once every week but make sure soil get dry completely. In winter water once every 2 or 3 week if soil get dry. Avoid overwatering, watered when it's soil get completely dry and thier leaves start to curl in 2 or 3 week.Don't overwatering your haworthia that damage your haworthia's roots. If you want to save overwatered Haworthia get root bowl out from pot and remove their soil and repotting in new soil and don't water immediately. That can save your Haworthia.
humidityHaworthias grow well in high humidity but don't sweat it.

Light

Haworthias like bright to middium light but don't like full day direct sunlight.morning time 2 to 4 hour direct sunlight is ok.Haworthias also grow well in low light but once a week get it to bright light or place it fornt of window. 
Fertilize 
               Fertilize your haworthia plant once in a month , you can use this organic suculents fertilize in growing season. 

Temperature
                         Hawarthias grow well in the temperature 75°F to 90°F (24 to 32°C).But some haworthia species can survive a light frost for a short period.

Size

Haworthias are small succulent plants, it can grow 3 to 5 inch in height and 6 to 12cm diameter. 

Propagating

    haworthia propagating from seed, pups and leaves.
 
Propagating from seed you need to soak the seed in warm water for 30 minute. Place seed on peat moss Or cocopeat sprinkle cocopeat and make light layer cover the seed and spray water and keep it moist. 
    Propagating from pups  when pot  get full with pups, remove the pups in  spring  or autumn when plants is not actively growing and reduce stress of mother plant. 
        Propagating from leaf you need cactus soil mix or only cocopeat and get in leaf's lower part in soil and water. Place 
 Leaf pot in bright indirect sunlight, keep the soil moist. It will take some  weeks to start rooting . 
Common problem

   haworthia plants leaves get yellowing that is you overwatered your plant or not have well drain soil. 
    If your Haworthia plant's leaves get curling  thats your plant underwater and need water 
If your haworthia plants leaves get redish or brown that's your plant is underwater  soil get completely dry for long time Or you place your haworthia in driect sunlight for long time.
